1 Corinthians 13
Part 8
“Rejoiceth no in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth.” ~ 1 Corinthians 13:6
The word rejoice means “to have pleasure in.”
Iniquity is often defined as “either doing something you shouldn’t have done, or not doing something you should have done.”
Truth comes from an Old English word meaning “faithfulness; consistency.”
The definition of truth reminds me of Hebrews 13:8, which says, “Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, today, and forever.” Jesus is consistent, because He is the Way, the Thruth, and the Life!
Love does not take pleasure in sin done on purpose. Or any sin for that matter.Imstead, it pleasures in good things!
Yesterday’s church service was another continuation on being Mighty Conquerors. Our pastor spoke about how unity in prayer brings results! When you are facing a situation, don’t deal with it alone- get some believers to pray with you!
The other day, I got my diploma in the mail! As a result, my aunt got me a half dozen of pretty roses.
I has a violin lesson today, and all of us cousins made it this time! It was rather noisy, but fun. There are four of us altogether that are learning how to play.
Here’s a picture I took of Baby I today.

Sorry today’s post is on the short side. Leave me a comment, and don’t forget to check out my guestbook page!
