National Peanut Butter Day!

This seems like a sort of ridiculous topic to blog about, but in observation of this day, I have a scrumptious, fudgy, chocolate peanut buttery delight for you.

And if you are anything like me, hardly anything tastes as good unless it is with peanut butter.

This tasty treat literally takes less than two minutes to make, and, it is just as easy to clean up! To be honest, I do not like cleaning up a huge mess… so the only cleanup required, is your dish and spoon!

Plus, it really hits the spot for the sweet cravings! Who doesn’t want a snack like that?

All you need, are the following:

  • A generous spoonful of peanut butter
  • About a 1/2 TBS of REAL maple syrup {You know, the kind that comes straight from the trees; the fake factory stuff isn’t even the same consistency and tastes nothing like the real deal!} *Feel free to experiment with these measurements, if you feel you’d like a little more, or a bit less.*
  • Approximately 1/2 TBS of chocolate chips {I use Lily’s Stevia Sweetened Brand} *Once again, these are just approximate measurements I use, so if yo think you’d like yours a bit different, be that kitchen scientist!*

  1. In a custard sized dish, microwave peanut butter and maple syrup for about 25 seconds.
  2. Immediately add chocolate chips, and stir.
  3. Bless your snack, then enjoy this fudgy, peanutty chocolate delight! {You can even use it as a dip- apples, bananas, graham crackers, etc. would all be a yummy addition to your treat.}

Hey, if you try this simple little recipe, I would love to hear what you thought about it! Did you make any changes to it? What did you dip in it? I love to eat it just as it is, and dipping fruit in it. What other creative things do you think you would do with it?

God Bless, and Happy National Peanut Butter Day!
