Putting all that aside, the main purpose of this website is to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I want this place to be a place of encouragement when you need built up. I want to show how Salvation through Christ is a lifestyle, not just a profession.
The Good News is that Jesus Christ loves you SO MUCH! He gave His entire life so you could live eternally. He took upon Himself all of your sin and shame so you could be perfect in God’s sight. He wants you to reach out to receive this gift of Salvation; there is nothing in ourselves we can do to deserve it, it is a GIFT! He will forgive you of anything you have done wrong, no matter how bad you think you are!
My morals are these:
- I believe that Jesus is the Son of God, and He loves us so much that He died on the cross to shed His blood as a pure sacrifice to save us from separation with God because of our sins. I believe He rose again to give us new life in Christ, that we could have eternal life with Him in Heaven.
- Modesty. This includes wearing long skirts/dresses. The Bible commands women to “…adorn themselves with modest apparel…” (1 Timothy 2:9) and “The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman’s garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the Lord thy God.” (Deuteronomy 22:5)
- Long hair on women, and not cutting her hair. “Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him? But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering.” (1 Corinthians 11:14-15) Also, “But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven. For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered.” (1 Corinthians 11:5-7) So if a woman’s hair is her covering, and she uncovers her head (how?) by cutting her hair, even a tiny bit, even the split ends, it is a shame to her, and she might as well shave it all off.
- No blogging on Sundays. In the Bible, Jesus says that “If ye love Me, keep my commandments.” (John 14:15) And one of His commandments is to “Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy.” (Exodus 20:8, 9-11)
I hope you realize I am not forcing my beliefs on anyone. I am not forced to do these things myself; I choose to keep these principles because I love Christ, so I try to keep His commandments as best as I can with His help. God bless you, and have a wonderful day!
