Enjoying The Ride

I got this off of Pinterest. This is the website that was with it.

Since yesterday was so lovely, a bike ride was definitely on the agenda! My mom, four siblings, aunt, two cousins, grandma, and I went to a mile-long, all-purpose trail. There were six of us kids riding bikes while the ladies walked and Baby I ate snacks in his stroller.

My younger brother Mr. D and I were feeling adventurous, so we explored a trail at the end of the original mile. A side path took us into woods that felt like an enchanted forest or something ๐Ÿ˜„. There were a lot of evergreens, so maybe that’s why it had the “enchanting” effect. It eventually led to a paved trail where we saw at least 5-8 deer dash through! We also discovered an old park with a tiny, abandoned, metal playground, and several pavilions. And that’s where we had to turn around for time’s sake ๐Ÿ™. Upon our return, the mothers/aunts decided that the nearby, not-so-old park would be just the thing for the children to do after we ate lunch. Thank the Lord for keeping us all safe, and that we had a good time!

Here are some cute little flowers I found while exploring.

We also had our Wednesday night church service and prayer meeting yesterday. Our pastor preached on “A Reason To Come Boldly To The Throne”. He talked about how the veil in the temple was rent from top to bottom when Jesus died, therefore taking away the very thing that had separated us from the mercy seat. Now that access is made to all who will believe! I’m so grateful for the loving sacrifice Jesus gave for us to come to that place where we can meet God. It is such a beautiful thing to be a Christian!

Praise report!! A man our church was praying for was healed of cancer, and the doctors can’t figure out what happen!! God is SO GOOD!!

Do you have any adventuring tales you’d like to share? Is there a specific sermon you have heard that really encouraged you? Is there a praise report or a prayer request you’d like to make known? If so, drop a comment!

  1. Yes, the more on fire we are for God, the easier we will keep moving. Praise the Lord, many people have been healed of cancer lately! Not even cancer can stand in the way of a sincere prayer of faith. ๐Ÿ™‚
